Mo in Kent Report 7 Oct 2013 15:42

Yvonne, the name Bean is probably in some way connected to the village of Bean, here in Kent.
I won't make the usual comments that follow the word bean....apart from they give you wind and make you ...parp. ;-) ;-) ;-)

Noreen my lickle love, whats up hun, as Yvonne said, you sound like you are really down in the dumps.
If you want a sounding board we are here for you to scream at, if the need should arise. (((((HUGS))))))

Well girls, what do you think of this wonderful Indian Summer we appear to be having at the moment.
It wont last that much I do know, as the forecasters have said it will change mid week.

Still sending (((((((((HUGS <3 <3 <3 for our Marilyn.)))))))))

Take care one and all. Mo

LOL Noreen, that will teach you volunteering to shorten the trousers for SIL. Mind you, my Roly is as bad, he always buys two pairs at a time, and expects them by some miracle to fit him overnight, what , does he think that the trouser shortening fairy to appears at the touch of a wand or what.
I cannot stand using wonder web, it just doesn't stay stuck for very many washes either, and as you say, it sticks quite easily to the iron, so why oh why does it not stick very well to material for any length of time.
Saucy monkey's at PC w*rld should have given you the lead, not lent you one, after all it was their repairers who forgot to put your one back in the box, and quite an inconvenience to yourself having to go all the way back to them to retrieve it.

Sorry Yvonne, I forgot that you still have your horse. It was Jeni (Jean) who lost her horse.
Did you discover if you and our Marilyn are distantly related?

Hi Staffy Col, I hope you are well, and liking this new layout, not many of us liked it originally, but you do get used to it eventually.
Pop back and see us soon.

Sending my usual ((((((((((HUGS <3 <3 <3 for our Marilyn))))))))))) Keep up the good work babe, dont let the bugger beat you. xxx

Morning all

Nice and sunny today

Mo, I still have my horse but she is now retired, she has 'bute' which is an anti-inflammatory and painkiller to keep her comfortable. she spends her days grazing in the field with her friends. I suppose there will come a day when I will have to make the decision but for now she is quite happy. I've been sharing my friend's horse on the days she has her grandson so I get to ride which has been lovely, her horse is called Rosie and she is a lovely girl.

I'm off now to update my tree. a relli has given some info on my dad's side of the family and the funny thing is a daughter in the family married a Bean so I might be related to our Marilyn!! Will have to look into that

See you later

Hi Everyone
Thinking of You Marilyn on Tues ....

Hi to Pauline nice to meet you

Yvonne there's no way I would put my hand in a jar if I thought there was a spider in it but our Bill gets up to his tricks and I didn't believe him for one moment ...well you live and learn Ugh! I still feel the blooming thing

Mo our shops the same it went in a nice plastic box and came back in it but no lead however went down today and they have lent me one and emailed their menders ? the lads were so nice so couldn't get annoyed with them well I suppose they had to be as they had not put the details on the comp. when it came back so it could still be sitting there waiting for us as and as it is a new h/drive there is nothing on it and I don't know what to do hopefully daur will know when she is up tom. Oh these complications!

Can you believe this sil when he buys new trousers never looks at the length and often ends up needing them shortened well he saw me shorten some for OH recently and managed to get me to say I would do his ...Of course I will says I (stupidly) just bring them over ....well whats a couple of trousers Eh!.... I'll tell you 8 pairs came over last w/end so yesterday and today I have managed 7 prs couldn't do the last pr as the daylight was bad but feeling quite pleased with myself. Friend told me to use the wonderweb stuff that you iron now that was a palaver if ever there was.. trying to get it into the hem then ironing but bits sticking to iron then when it was finished it didn't stick so ended up using the machine ...what a waste of time lol!
Anyway am off now will try and finish the book I'm reading so Take Care and Be Good
Noreen :-D

Thank you Pauline, for keeping us updated about Marilyn. What can I say, poor Marilyn has been through the mill, but god willing she will come out the other side, fighting like the trouper that she is.

Pauline, what are we going to do with your Brent. I don't know about him working his ticket, he knows how to push your buttons, but you must both be exhausted.
I can't say tie him to his bed, as I know it would be an impossibility, even with both of you doing it. lol

Oh Noreen, fancy them forgetting to give you the most important things for your lappy. Perhaps they wanted to see you again love, you impressed them that much.
How the heck could they misplace it for such a long time, thats what I would like to know. Are they normally that busy there, that they could lose it like that.
When my lappy goes wrong, I take it to the same company as you, and they normally put each individuals P.C's in seperate plastic boxes, along with any leads etc included, so I cannot understand how they forgot to give you the lead and battery.

Hi Yvonne, how are you keeping love.
Did you ever get yourself another horse after losing your last one? Jean's Mare has had two foals, and judging by the photo she has of them, they look beautiful.

Hello there Huia, I did notice you poke your head round the corner.

If Stephen is looking in, a big HELLOOOO to you my friend.

Jeniwren, where the ecky thump are you hiding my love. Good luck for tomorrows chemo honey.

Sending big ((((((((((HUGS and <3 <3 <3))))))))))) for our Marilyn.

Take care lovely people, speak to you soon. Mo

Nice to see you back, Stephen and hello to our new friendly, Noreen.

Mo, I hope we don't have those same problems again this year that we had with all that snow. Brent's had me demented this last week, he's been working his ticket again. Haven't been able to get him to go to bed since last Thursday............ until last night. I've been like a walking zombie but we all had a good night's sleep last night. :-)

Stop fighting over Shelly's lappy, she'll find a way to get rid of the spell checker. :-)

Take care all.

Edit: For those who don't live in the north........... a 'Workie Ticket' is someone who pushes their luck. :-)

Hello everyone, hope you're all keeping well.

I've just popped back to say I've spoken to Pete again.

Marilyn's had surgery for Pyometra (removing all the blood and puss from the uterine cavity). It was that problem that was causing her all the pain. Her temperature is down now and she's out of pain but they're keeping her on antibiotics for another 2 weeks.

She needs a mammogram now and then starts chemo on Tuesday. Because she's so weak the chemo will have to be in smaller doses and spread out longer. The hospital are hoping to get her taking a few steps over the next few days. She knows she's in the best place and Pete says she's coping with it well.

Oh Noreen, I laughed so much at the antics with the spider, I had tears running down my legs.
I am exhausted tonight. We had Lilly today...well I had her from 8.45 a.m, till Roly got back from taking our friend to the hospital, at around 2p.m.
She's like a classic nearly three year old, every time she does anything, she says, "right".
I didn't realise till she started to say it, just how often I say it myself.
If I have finished doing something, I say out loud to myself,"right thats done" I must stop it, I am just thankful that I don't swear in front of her, I should hate to take her back home, and she comes out with a right mouthful of swear words. lol
Right, I must go now, it's time I had a nice relaxing cup of tea, as this is the first chance I have really had all day.
Bye for now, Mo

Ohh! I think there might just be some argybargy over that purple lappy me thinks...I saw it first! and I know you don't really mean it Shelly be brave chuck it out :-D
No our Pops thought the tyres were her size we have smashing clean treds so we do - she is such a teenween wee thing but by gum does she make up for it in energy and noise, we also had g/son 10 yr old Billy up at w/end now he is quite a prankster and when I lifted an old cookie tub? with lid on he cries out "Watch it there's a spider in it" --- Who does he think he's kidding ha! heard that one before ,...."Well " says I ..... "shall I open it and put my hand " ..he just laughed so I did.........OMG the bigest meanest nastiest spider you could find crawled over my hand.... Well the box went flying - the kids went screaming and ran off in all directions as it came over their way and I nearly had a fit and I got told later. ... I told you so :-D ps don't know where the blooming spider went so keeping my feet off the ground for the time being :-0
Just in case Shelly really really wants to keep that puple thingy well getting mine back from menders tomorrow >>>YES! no more on son's one can be free to do what I like,.... hmm! me thinks that's how the darn thing ended up in the lappy hosp. :-(

Oi Noreen, that purple lappy is heading my way, thats if I can get Shelly to part with it. On second thoughts, I suppose if I send her this one, she could paint it a lovely shade of purple or pink for moi. lol
I had to chuckle at little Poppy washing the car. Now what I want to know is, how the heck did she reach the roof, did grandad lift her up, or did she jump. lol
I hope she rinsed the soap suds off properly, we can't have her doing half a job now can we. :-D :-D :-D

Hi Maddie, good to hear from you my love. Hope things are well with you and yours.
I don't know about you, but I shall be glad when this year is over, it's been nothing but sad news all the way round.
What with the sad news about Marilyn, my dear friend Ann has got bone cancer, and another male friend has got bladder cancer, why oh why is this bleddy disease doing so much damage to all our good friends.

Shelly, keep that plastic cover over me lappy will yer, we need to keep it like brand new, for when we share it. lol ;-) ;-) ;-)

I wonder if Linda still looks in sometimes, and if she knows about Marilyn.

Bye for now folks. Hugs Mo
