Mo in Kent Report 26 Jul 2013 16:35

Oh hell I meant Callum not Marcus ,Shelly, where the heck did I get that name from.
I don't know if I am on my head or my heels these days, the brain seems to have sunk down below my waist line, I know I talk a loads of ahem ,poo at times (thats me being polite)
Where has everyone got to I wonder, surely not sunbathing, it's just..."To darned hot to sit out in it."
I must be ruddy mad, have changed all the bedding, hoovered, dusted and polished the bedrooms, cleaned the bathroom, got the washing done and dried ironed and put away, and yes, I am cream crackered.
Now it's time to start dinner, ooh how I wish I had a servant for a day, instead of being head cook and bottle washer, I'm not asking for it to be every day, just once in a while.
Right I am orft to start dinner, see ya's all later. Mo

Norren, I do like the choice of name for our royal baby.I wonder if the family will call him George, or choose Alexander for private use.
I notice the little mite has been learning the royal wave already.
Like you, christmas has always been an expense where the grandchildren are concerned. It was not so bad when we were both working, but as they have got older (the grandchildren), the cost of the gifts has risen and got bigger in size, and our pockets have shrunk.
Fortunately for us, we now have quite a few who are out working, and don't expect presents from us anymore. But we still have seven who wait for Santa to visit them. lol
We had Lilly for the day yesterday, and oh boy were we cream crackered by the time she went home.
Bless her, she was boiling over, and has got her nasty cough back again. I wish the doctors would decide if she is asthmatic or not, at least that way, we would know how to help her better. It's no good saying,"if she needs it, give her the Ventolin inhaler", she needs a proper diagnosis.
I am in the middle of doing the sandwiches for presentation night tonight. The whole house stinks of eggs, and onions, methinks the airfreshener will be bought out when they are finished, yuk, cant stand the pong. Why oh why do people like cheese and onion sandwiches...there choice I suppose, but it aint helping the odour in here. :-S :-S :-S poo stinks.
Bye for now girls, back to the sanga's.

Yes we do miss the 2 families that are in Aus Steve has been there for 20 yrs and his daughter who lives with him was born there and is now 18 ugh? while Keith our other son and wife left here just over a year ago with 4 of his 5 children leaving his oldest aged 22 here but think he will emigrate soon :-( so family quite depleted still we are lucky as there are 4 still here with 6 g/kiddies :-D

Hi Noreen,
Our Lilly is two and a half. She is a little doll.
We had an enormous storm last night, with sheet and fork lightening, it absolutely chucked it down with rain, but the plants in the garden gave a big cheer for the drink they received.
A house not far from us was hit by the lightening, and went up in smoke. Thank goodness it wasn't us thats all I can say.
I bet you really miss your family in OZ. I have discovered three cousins in OZ, that I didn't know existed, and would love to meet them, but know I never shall, and thats such a pity.
Bye for now, I hope you manage to get a decent nights sleep. Mo

Hi All...Oh my goodness wish it would thunder here and break the clammy atmosphere just can't breathe :-S
Mo your poor wee Lillly bet your glad to know what is wrong and hope the grommets help Friend had the same with her son years ago grommets kept coming out but he is now in his 20's and just fine, how old is Lilly?
Did you enjoy your BBQ Marilyn not been to one this year .....no one has invited us we not wanted
:-( ... :-D Looks as if everyone is enjoying the sun too much to come on here (or maybe at BBQ ... to which we not invited :-( :-D
Just been on the phone to son in Aus they are having lots of snow so the skiing is going well and the g/kiddies are really enjoying learning how to ski and snowboard we were watching them on the video and they are scooting down the small slopes far too quickly for my liking ! (in case anyone doesn't know they only emigrated last year and this is the first year in the Snowy Mts where skiing is on the school curriculum so they are having to get lessons) Oh we do miss them :-(

Mo in Kent Report 21 Jul 2013 18:39

Hmm Marilyn, yes we have spoken about your sisters wedding and ours being on the same date, and year.
As I have said before, I was but a mere baby when we got married, a pure innocent lickle thing. I soon learn't mind you lol.
I hope you enjoyed your BBQ, we had a lovely chicken salad, we just didn't want a proper roast today.

Noreen, do you remember when the blue dolly bags were used, every Monday morning, wash day. Perhaps your OH was trying to replace them with his sun hat. :-D :-D
Bless him, he was only trying to be helpful.

I forgot to tell you all, our Lilly had to go for an assessment on Friday. She appeared to be rather backwards with her speech, but, they have discovered she has no hearing in her right ear.
She has to go back in four months, for another check on it. They seem to think she may have glue ear, due to all the infections she suffered last winter.
As a last resort, they will fit grommets, but they dont always work do they. Our eldest granson had them fitted, but the darned things came out, but fortunately his hearing had improved by that time, and he is now a strapping 20 year old.

Well me dears, I will say cheers for now, speak to you later. Mo

Mo in Kent Report 20 Jul 2013 20:35

To be honest Noreen, we had hoped to renew our vows, as we did for our 40th, but with problems in our family, I don't think that this will be possible, it's a shame but hey ho, thats life.
So we might just have a family meal, with members of the family who are still talking to me. They would turn up if Roly went on his own, but hey, it's my anniversary as well, and why should I starve just because they chose to be nasty.lol
If the blackmail works on your John, re the painting, give me the recipe and I will try it on im indoors, but I will use the darts or cricket as my exc ... blackmail.
Did you get the curtains up o.k by the way. I hope there was no problems with them.
Night night god bless, speak to you tomorrow sometime. Mo

Are you going to do anything nice for your 50th then Mo?? we had a family meal and few friends (don't like big do) M&S do a beautiful fruit (or sponge) 50th cake it was lovely I also got for the kiddies a sponge oblong cake just iced so added gold roses / dust and ribbon and it looked so expensive and in fact it was the first to be eaten it was so light.
Laughing at the saucy monkey...it was hubby's fault as well he enjoyed talking about golf and yes he did get a cuppa but the baking was still in the oven think he had a bisc.
Now I am going to do what you are doing Mo and not bother about batteries been told not to bother so if we both go up in smoke ...well we'll sit on a cloud and watch this site :-D
Sorry Marilyn I knew it was you just a slip of the fingers did you get your ironing done don't think I could face that at the moment the steam would just floor me...well that's my excuse. Still been busy today I actually washed 2 duvets managed to get them out and dried ....lovely got the rest of the bedding done (son been staying with us while his house is being renovated) so up to date with all washing been really energetic in the cleaning dept. But now I have got my eye on some painting (OK so no go Mo - got the hint !) so poor old John is next in line won't tell him until after the golf then it's "You know how I let you sit ALL Day watching golf and doing nothing while I ran around ? yes? well then........." ) hahaha
:-D :-D ;-)
Nite All Be Good if you can Take Care Enjoy Tomorrow

Oh Noreen, how could you forget your wedding anniversary 51 years, many congratulations to you both.
It will be our 50th in February, well, sort of, as we married in a leap year in 1964.
What a saucy monkey that rep was, plonking his bum down in your house and watching golf. I suppose he expected a cup of tea as well. I do hope you didn't give him any of your baking.
My battery on here does not hold it's charge, and I have to keep it plugged into the mains when I use it. I decided I wasn't going to fork out for a new battery, not if I could still use it the way I do. Well thats what my kids have told me to do anyway, so if I go up in a puff of smoke you know who to blame, yep the kids. lol
My OH has slept in his own room for years now,(coz of his snoring) Noreen, it was Marilyn's OH that slept in the other bedroom last night.
Oooh Marilyn, you are a one, asking Peter if he and Sue are connected in any way, lol I wanted to ask that, but hadn't got the nerve to do it, so come on Peter tell us do, we are after all the gossip. ;-) ;-) ;-)
Well surprise surprise, I was back into leggings and a jumper today, cor lummy, it didn't arf turn chilly round me bits and pieces. We also had spots of rain on and off all morning, what a change after the last week or so.
Maz and Shelly, Marcus on BB comes from near to me, and he is acting like a right wazzuk. But I am glad that Jackie went on Friday night, she did provoke the last argument that she and Marcus had. Don't worry, I am not over keen on Marcus, he doesn't do himself any favours being the way he is.
Well me lovelies, me hearties, I must away now, take care, speak to you tomorrow. Mo

A nice cool shower Mo lovely, kiddies over the road have a big yellow flower which goes round spraying water... no one was in today and I nearly "Borrowed" it. You have to stick it in the grass unfortunately our back is all stone so would have to stick it in the grass at front, wonder if the neighbours would mind if I buy one and go dancing round and round the flower shower in the front garden :-S :-S

Thanks for letting us know Peter. We do miss Sue's postings.

Noreen, it looks like it's only me and thee around today, we wont see Shelly till around midnight, she's a real night owl.
My maxi dresses have had an airing during this hot weather as well. I don't like showing me pins, so maxi's are my favourite.
I'm thinking I shall have a tepid bath in a minute, it's at times like this I wish we had a shower.
Bye for now.
