Hallo again,
Weather has turned cold again but is supposed to be warmer for the weekend. We have our ex-Queen's birthday celebrations on Thursday when everybody has a free day off work and festivities are going on every where. Lots of car boot sales etc.
I've been baking one apple tart after another. Today made one for the daughter of my help in the house, she will be 9 years of age and likes my apple tarts. I must make another one either tomorrow or the day afterwards. I have piles of ironing too. Anyway with a spare pair of hands?
Thanks for the ATC cards Issy.
There will be a lot of head scratching for the next lot of ATC cards - texture, ???
I have been asked to make card for a 100 year old lady. Anybody got any ideas for me?
Please girls let me have your e-mail addresses as I have lost all mine.

goodness, three days since anyone wrote on here. are we all busy card making? I have finished my Grandson's scrap book and I am pleased with it. The only thing is, unlike the 12x12, it wont stay shut so have had to put an elastic band round it.

Also been playing with the cuttlebug today, I noticed one of the plates is already a bit bent. Better buy a spare one sometime.

Sorry just a quickie message.

I have just received a phone call from Patricia, she is still in hospital and will be there for most of next week undergoing tests.

Barbara Pearson is also recovering from a knee operation and Mary although out of hospital is still recovering.

I am sure we will wish all of them a speedy recovery and will keep them in our thoughts and prayers.

I hope I haven't missed anyone

Hi Sylvia, I'm back as well, been staying at my daughters for the week. Just trying to catch up with my emails and everything else.

Sylvia, hope you get your computer back to how you like it soon nothing worse than someone else 'playing' with it and changing things.

Issy thanks for sending me the ATC's they arrived safely and they are fabulous as usual, thank you ladies.

Tomorrow will be spending the day baking as it is grandsons christening and I am doing most of the catering. Made and decorated the cake. He loves ducks so it has lots of ducks on it. I really should have made him a card with ducks on!!

Have a lovely weekend all of you

Hoi All,
I'm back again. Our computer has been by the doctor since last Saturday, so that is a whole week. I have to get used to what he has been doing. Everything is strange.
Would all the birthday girls be kind enough to send me their e-mail addresses as I have lost my complete file.
I must find out where to change this letter as it is so small. Was so happy I found Genes Reunited.

Went to London for the day yesterday to see Priscilla Queen of the Desert, birthday treat from the kids, had a lovely day and the weather was so sunny and warm, although the evening turned very chilly.
Sun shining again today, so lets hope it warms up a bit as still quite chilly here this morning.

Sylvia, sounds like a very good idea to treat yourself!!

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend.

Hi all,
Well no sun today but it is at least dry. Johan and I were going out but this morning there were a few drops of rain which frightened him off, so we didn't go. I managed to get to the market and back on my own with some sunshine and no rain.
I went to the Craft Shop to buy a present for a friend and ended up by something for myself as well. Well, felt I deserved it.
Nothing much has happened, so will say have a nice evening and till tomorrow.

Hi, everyone, I'm pleased to catch up wioth everyone's news. I hope your tooth is sorted OK. Sylvia.

I'm away for the weekend with the church, but I do hate having to pack and decide what to take to wear. Since I put on weight a couple of years ago, I have few clothes and I feel I look awful in what I have. Still, I don't have to think about meals this weekend, so I shall enjoy that, once I get into my friends car.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend

Love

Anne
