A couple of years ago I was sent a photo of my great grandparents with their 12 of their 15 children - my grandfather is 3 and sitting on his dad's knee. What I couldn't get over is the resemblances to some family members. Then on a trip to the UK we visited my 88 year old uncle and he asked me if I had seen a photo of his parents when they were young. He showed me the most beautiful photo of them and my grandma was obviously pregnant in the photo. I asked him who he thought she was pregnant with and he turned the photo over and the date was 1926. This means my grandma was pregnant with my Dad. I was so excited by this that I cried. My uncle allowed me to take the photo and have it copied.

I had a wonderful picture sent to me via email once of a mother and two children the man who sent it informed me the little girl was his grandmother and the little boy was my great grandfather {aged 6} they looked identical to my son and neice ~ every photograph is a friend and has a story to tell we are all part of history and making history daily
