Also looks as if a book was written about Royal Albert institution, author, W.H.Coupland. You could always try at your local Library to ask them to do a search for the book. They will search the country & get it for you if found for a small charge.

Hi Kay, if you Google the institution there is quite a bit of info. about it. Looks like the records are held at the Records Office. Maybe if you write to them, including a self addressed envelope they will help you. Some Records Offices are better at helping than others. Good luck.

I am trying to find any information on the Royal Albert Institution in Lancashire. I have a member of the family tree who was in that institution. As know body knows any thing about Sidney Edgar's history I am trying to put something together. I have his 1911 census information for his family and institution. Sidney died in an institution but not sure as to which one as yet.
