Apparently I need a nurses outfit. They have just arrived back from Barcelona. Eve woke up at 5 am and was sick, she was then sick again just after they got off the plane at Gatwick.

I just can't wait to catch it

I hope you have your princess costume at the ready...or will that be the wicked witch ;-)

Can I stop hugging now? My arms are getting tired?

I am off to London today for a spot of baby sitting. They arrive back from Barcelona today, so Eve is going to be tired out I am bringing her back here on Sunday for two weeks, so I will be playing princesses non stop no doubt

At last I’m here .

Dear Sue,Linda and Tec’s many friends on here.

It is a very sad time for everyone to hear about the passing of Tec, for all that have had the pleasure to join in with him on the chat boards and share some hilarious moments was a bonus Tec was one in a million and a very caring and wonderful person who will be missed so much.

Sending Cwtchs to you all on the Aussie thread and especially to Sue and Linda who were lucky to visit Wales and spend time in person with Tec.

<3 Thinking of you all <3

That is brilliant news Sylvia I hope whatever it was has gone away and you are feeling much better now.

Yes there are always the strangely dressed ladies accompanying the men. When I look at some of them, I really wonder if they own a full length mirror

It is a nice morning, OH is making the bacon Sarnies as I type. The young couple next door are having a bbq this afternoon for the twins first birthday. I said that I will make a bowl of potato salad and rice salad for her. She is as good in the kitchen as he is at DIY. So many of the young ones these days have no idea how to cook

I get "homesick" when you describe different events in your town. I remember seeing a group of race goers in town....a young woman was having a dreadful time walking in her extremely high heels.

We've had glorious sunny days but today (Sunday) it is miserable and cold. A day to be inside with a good book and a supply of coffee.

It ia race day today, this morning when we were in the market square, there were lots of coaches disgorging large groups of en straight into the pubs

We are very close to the racecourse so hear the public address system. The crowd get very excited as they cheer the horses over the line. A race has just finished, I dont know what was going on, but the noise was deafening, I have never heard it as loud before.

For once the weather is lovely, it normally rains on race day. My daughter went to Royal Ascot a few weeks ago. Sadly it rained, but they gave out plastic ponchos. I have a picture of her in all her finery sitting on the plastic picnic chair, with the poncho covering both her and the chair. It stopped raining for the parade, she was right on the rail, so took a good video of the queen going past in her open top carriage. Despite the rain, they had a lovely time, I think she was rather squiffy by the end

Tec's stories and his gentleness are legendary.

I will miss him so much, but can only be glad that he is out of pain, and reunited with his Duchess.

RIP TEC <3

Hi Sue, Linda and Everyone<3
Thinking of all of Tec's Dear Friends on the Aussie Thread Today.

I know how much you will all miss him. Such a dear man, with the most wonderful sense of humour. How I used to laugh at his banter with you all on this thread.

His strength of character during all his health problems and care of the duchess, his positivity through it all, was an inspiration to all of us.

If anyone missed his"The Raindance" antics with Shaun, I have them on Word. If you would like a copy of it, please feel free to PM me.

My heartfelt sympathy to his daughter, son-in-law and all the family <3
Also to all his many friends <3

Love to you all, Jem xx <3

It is a very sad day, he was such a wonderful friend and I will miss him so much. He was so ill the last time I spoke to him, so I am relieved that he is pain free now. Having said that, I wish we could turn the clock back and have him back with us <3

I have been searching for a way to contact support to ask for his thread to be stickier, but I can't find a link anywhere. Does anyone know how to do it please.

we are having some really nice weather, albeit a little too hot for me at the moment. It is expected to coll down a little for the weekend, but stay sunny.

I also love Whitby, although it is about 20 years since we last visited there.
