	We did have a bit of sunshine this morning, but the high winds have continued. My neighbour is on hols,but his car is on the drive, last night the wind blew his weelie bin around and it ended up when wedged between the side of his car and our dividing garden wall ! Nice scratch down the side of his car :(( Hubby's moved the bin to the bottom of his garden and wedged it behind his shed.

	I don't like high winds with rain like we had yesterday, but prefer them to snow. Still wet and windy today but not so severe.

	Bleeding heck I thought the side of the house had been hit by a car last night, there was this large light shining thro the curtains and this huge rumbling roaring crash. Just the start of one long thunderstorm.! Thank goodness it wasn't snow that fell from the heavens,we'd have 6 ft by now !

	When I went for a walk on Sunday afternoon past the local Primary school the Headmaster and one of the Governors had just made the decision not to open on the Monday,.... still closed today. The school is difficult to access really ,so it often gets closed. The main roads seem OK ,tho dau and son failed to get to them to get to work yesterday and today. Son's been working from home, but in his 'lunch break' was trawling the net for a set of 'Winter wheels and tyres' for his car. I couldn't believe the price on them !!

	we are still very white all schools were off mon and tues but the roads are improving

	Son and dau got off to work today , tho son had to go to his work base to pick up a pool car cos he's working in Bristol all week. We've had the gritter across our road last night and no further snow falls so tho it is just one track we can get to the main road.

	I am sick of the news its as if we cant do anything lol ,So far we have had very little snow today

	It's looks pretty here too .....pretty awful ! I don't know why but everything has come to halt , yeah OK we've got over 6 inches of snow, but a snow plough and gritter would clear the whole town in an hour. I think the council have pulled the plug ,cos we have an almost 180% view of main and local roads and not a gritter in sight. Heck we've got to work much worse weather than this !
