morning all ,Looks pretty outside

same here and really pretty though for a while

Hasn't been much above freezing all day , tho the sun was out for a few hours.

Hi all~~

Had more snow again last night, but we haven't had any rain to clear it !
Main roads are OK , side roads bit iffy especially if no sun on them !
Pavements only usable with caution !!

We had about 1inch of snow by 9pm last night ,when I got up at 5amit didn't look any deeper , but it's cleared now. :)

Hi all~~ It's been a lovely day here too, it was picking snow at about 4pm just after I came back from my walk, but it's fine again now :-)..for how long I wonder ;-)

its pleasant here today at the moment inspite of snow due later on

It was a beautiful day yesterday all day ,not a cloud in the clear blue sky , but today it's misty and foggy again :)

Morning all~~ Crisp one here ! Nice for walking :-)

Those blinking Helium balloons were huge !
A bit of a shock when I saw them, son and dau couldn't get them into black plastic sacks , so son had to come in to see that the coast was clear, keep hubby chatting whilst dau took them up to her bedroom :-D
I cooked a lovely meal and then hubby said about having cheesecake for after ( cos we all like that ) dau excused herself from the table without answering,so I had to follow her to ' ask her ' whilst she hurriedly lighting the candles on his cake to present it to him , he hadn't sussed :-D

Hubby has a 'special' birthday tomorrow, he doesn't like a fuss,tho if we did throw a big party he'd take it in his stride.
He went to North Wales last yr for his elder brother's surprise 60th,we both went for his 50th ( non surprise).
I suppose we are similar as far as celebrations go.
He had a 21st party arranged by his parents, which he enjoyed.
I didn't have a18th or 21st celebration b'day party..my choice.
We didn't have an engagement party, joint choice.
We both enjoyed our wedding celebrations, but whilst others partied on in the evening we went off into the sunset together:)
Dau and son are going out now to get some Helium balloons !! to put up tonight after he has gone to bed.
Just be a family meal tomorrow evening when they are home with his cake and Champagne ( previously hidden in one of their cars, to keep fresh and chilled ! )

Hi all~~ Dau went out after tea last night and didn't return until the early hours so our tree is still up! Deffo be down by this evening !!!!
