Oh bless him - he must be so bored - but time is a good healer and I bet anything this time next year you will be having a laugh about it all.
You take care too and both of you must keep smiling.

It's a shame Eddie won't be home for Christmas Mummo, but agree with others if he's not ready you would only worry all the more.
Having your family around you will be wonderful and I do hope your mother has a good Christmas also.

Those talking books are great,I used to borrow them from the library for my Mil,as she was almost blind. She just loved listening to the stories (and before I took them back I put them on)......great when there was loads of ironing lol

Better for him to be in hospital until he is better, I am sure if they sent him out early you would worry Mummo. I am pleased that you have company for Christmas and New Year though and you will be able to get in to see him over the holiday.

Not happy to hear about the choking incident though, through making him feed himself because they are short staffed it caused more work than if somebody had sat with him. It must be so difficult feeding yourself when you are on your back. Do they tilt the bed up like they did in ICU?

Still all in all he is better in himself and that can only be good news. Lynda's idea about talking books is good too, easier to listen than read.

"Hello"
Lovely morning planned......H/work , lol.
Daughter is arriving tomorrow so that is making me feel better, my mum is coming to see Eddie on Saturday and going back home on Sunday l just hope it doesn't take it out of her ( she has bowel cancer) but she insisted that she wanted to see him as she has always treated Eddie as a son as he had no mum from the age of 12. My Grandson is arriving on Christmas Eve, lets hope the trains are running on time as he is coming from Cheshire and won't be arriving till 8.00pm and he will be staying for 4 days then back to work for him.
Well l hope you all have a good day. xx

How disappointing for you both, Mummo. I sure they would've sent him home if he was ready so as hard as it is Eddie really is in the best place. Lots of time for celebration when Eddie gets home. Take care.

Hi Mummo,
Well, if Ed is still in hospital for Christmas - you'll have to have it when he comes out! You never know - we may even have snow by then.
