Member Since: July 2008 Posts: 138 Send Message	Can anyone help me please, I'm trying to find out details of my Grandfather Charles Roberts born 1896 who served in the First World War. I would like to know if he won any medals and what they were for etc, he was also taken prisoner. Brian

	Brian Do you any other info such as the regiment he served in, his service number. On the medal cards there 200 plus with the name Charles Roberts, it is impossible to know which one is yours without these details. Medal cards do not give details of where they are born,so not searchable by address etc George Edit just noticed machine gun corp in your heading, will look further
