GR Tree Builder really slow - any suggestions?

Hi - its not my memory or RAM as other pages, including in GenesReunited itself, are relatively quick in loading. Its that blessed Tree Builder page.
As I am now wanting to put in GGrandparents etc, I have to click on Tree Builder to add more but the page just will not open; just sits at loading ...
Any suggestions please? Ancestry.co.uk works fine but it is over twice the price for what is in my opinion no better and sometimes worse than this site, but I may have to leave genealogy research altogether if I can't use this site and I can't afford the other. I'm so fed up ...

GR is having problems at the moment but you could always contact them and they maybe to offer you some advise, I have 2 back ups, I have my own web page on tribal and good old fashioned pen and paper...good luck Carl x

Carl,
I frequently get this problem. I find that if I sign in again, and go straight to Family Tree, it usually works. Sometimes it is necessary to go through this procedure twice - aggravating, but effective to get you in.

Thanks for replies. Its not my machine then. I have to say I have just had a very fruitful and hassle free genealogy search on a major competitor site and it was completely hassle free, flicking through pages, contacting people etc. I guess GR is a victim of its own popularity and low price.

Thanks to the help of GR support I have managed to get past my technical problem, basically:

I needed to allow pop-ups for GR;
update Adobe Flash;
defragment my machine;

Now its working ok - not quite as good as their main competitor, but they are twice the price so I guess you get what you pays for!

PS the above post was deleted by me as I was frustrated last night adn was venting a bit - decided to take diplomatic action!
