SUCCESS . . . . . for several years now I have been trying to trace what happened to one of my G G Grandmother's children. The only one of her 12 children I know nothing about.

Wilfred Robinson was born 5th January 1891, and is listed on the1891, 1901 & 1911 census returns but I never knew what happened to him after 1911, whether he married , died or even emigrated! I put off many times applying for numerous certificates trying to find him because there were numerous Wilfred Robinson's around.

I decided tonight to look for his death (something I'm sure I have done before) and there was a death in Nottingham of a Wilfred Robinson born 5th January 1891. As there was only one Wilfred Robinson born in that quarter . . . . it must be him! So I have just applied for a copy of his death certificate.

I want to find his - possible - marriage now. Hopefully the death certificate (& possible will) might show some light on this.

I'm well chuffed.

It just goes to show . . . . . NEVER give up ! !
