Thanks Susan,

This is a truly fascinating 'Find'

Many folk have a really hard time in life.

You should consider transferring it to the Trying to Find or Records office boards as well.

It would be a pity if others missed out on this great source of information.

I would Helen,

But it needs a better person than I ( Gunga Dinn lol) to give it the introduction it needs. Besides, all anyone needs to do is a search. My information threads are usually found on this board. They are just as likely to fall off the page as on any other board. Feel free to bookmark though :-)

Fantastic! Susan thank-you for posting this. My lot came from in and around this area for centuries..

Kind regards

I would just name it:

Handwritten Stepney Workhouse records online

I don't often look at the General Topics board ... was just lucky this time.

Think others may do the same and are more likely to search the other three boards looking for research information

The amount of information on each person is a researchers dream.

Hi Susan

I would definately put this on the other boards as Helen suggests. I have been researching my ancestors now for 7 years and have always used this website. But I always look and search from Records Office, Tips and Trying to Find boards. Tonight was an exception because I have just picked this up again after a 6 month break!

Kind regards
Angela

It would still be on the next page by now though:-)

I have been researching for many many years too and also know the boards well. I find that doing a search across all the boards is as easy as doing them across one and won't stop people asking before they search..

I have always put my findings on this board and others always seem to find them even if they don't post on the thread.

I take on board what you are say though, so if you wish to add it to the other boards please feel free to do so.

.......And to be honest....when I find something......I don't have time to mess about with boards....I know the people on this one and they know me...don't forget...they are researchers too :-)

Kind regards

Susan
