I have a marriage for this lady to Robert Morris in Sunderland 1865. I looked for them on 1871 census but cant find a family with Eleanor as mother. I have found family - (1871 census) children are
William
Lillian
Sophia
Sarah
Elizabeth
Robert
James
Susannah
But the mother is listed as Mary!!!
What am I doing wrong?

Are those all the children born to Robert and Eleanor/Mary?

If Eleanor had died and Robert remarried it's unlikely that they are children born to your Robert. 8 children between 1865 and 1871 seems a bit too many!

You might be better off posting this on the Trying to Find board and add the years of birth of the children.

I cannot find that 1871 census you posted.

When was Robert born and where?

And where are they in 1871?
