Realised I'd missed last weeks so watched that on iplayer first. Thought it was a lovely episode. This week's episode was very sad though.

It just doesn't tell a good story, I find it gives an insight on how people used to live.

It was very sad tonight - makes you appreciate the wonders of modern medicine. Watched that and then turned over for the Mo Mowlam programme - dead depressed now!!!!

Appreciate life a bit more (for a week or so) though
Why do they put all the good programmes on two or three nights a week and the rest of the week it's rubbish?
I notice the Winnie Mandea programe was repeated tonight as well!

One of the things I really like about Lark Rise to Candleford, is that is shows the poor and generally uneducated (Lark Riser's) aren't thick!
Something modern Governments should take note of!
