I'd like em to show how this " report " cost over a million but then i suppose that would cost another million plus

I believe they're making the announcement at about 11 re the prosecutions.

I think they'd be very unwise to try to wriggle out of throwing the book at some of them......if it was the average bloke on the street fiddling his tax returns, he wouldn't be shown leniency......MPs should be treated no differently xx

I wonder how much these reports, inquiries and Quango's cost the British taxpaper and invariably they result in nothing.

They aught to have to pay interest on the money they owe too as otherwise it has been like an interest free loan for them.

If ordinary civil servants had done this on the same scale I think P45s would have been issued. They have to identify and justify what they claim and have it checked. Disgraceful example from those who should know better.

I couldn't beleive they are looking to give them big wage increases to cover what they have lost in the expenses they should not have claimed in the first place. Just means they get the money without having to claim it doesn't it. Do we all look like mugs!!
