Absolutely - after all 'Sell by' is not 'Eat by'.

same as sheila may, sometimes thats all i can afford lol we have a meat waggon that comes on a saturday so its fill your freezer time, but if there is a odour its in the binxx

JUST COOKED A BREAST OF LAMB £1
AND A PORK SHOULDER JOINT £3
CUT IT UP AND FREEZE IN PORTIONS
KEEPS FOR A MONTH,

BUT NEVER THAT LONG IN THE FREEZER
RECON FOR £4 AT LEAST SIX MEALS FOR TWO

SERVE WITH JUMBO DUMPLING OR YORKSHIRE
ROAST SPUDS AN VEG

If the sell buy day is up I will buy meat as long as I can freeze it.But always use the Sniff test .If I think it may be iffy .....straight in the bin.
