Hi

Looking to book a cruise for hubby's 50th, but cannot find where the decks are on a ship.

One that I am looking at has cabins on Decks 5 & 6, but I do not know if this is near the top or the bottom of the ship...can anyone help?

It depends on the siz of the ship, the one we went on was 12 decks but only sleeping cabins from 3rd to 9th we was on the 7th or 8th and that was fine there is that much going on, on the ship that you only sleep and change in it, we were in a inside cabin and it was fine, you can get cabins with terraces but as I said you only really sleep in, you dont want to be holed up you want to be out mingling with people well I did the higher the deck the better quality your cabin so if you was on 3rd deck your not going to get any sleep as your right near the engines..

Hi

It is a Thomson holiday....Island Escape - Mediterranean Discovery.

Googled it and came across a deck plan with names and where they are on the ship.....checked this against the decks on the thomson site and deck 6 looks as though it is in the middle (Diamond deck on the other)...it is inside cabins (we like to socialise more than stay in a room) and it has a restaurant at the back of the ship along from the rooms.

Det / Hayley....many thanks for your help.

Now all I need is the dutch courage as I don't like boats, but hubby has always wanted to go on a cruise.
