Marriage Certificate

Is there a website I can actually see an old married certificate got some details but not sure before ordering one its the correct one

i dont know any websites
but at middlesbrough the registrar will take a peep
and if you give them some info like
fathers name occupation or address
they will tell you if they think its the right one

but most places its pay your money and its hit or miss

Where and years???,

as its only London online Parish Registeres at the present where you can see a marriage entry details in full,or Scotland do aswell but both need payments,

You may will have to take the usual route of ordering other English/Welsh ones,,,,

1959 or 1859? If it's 1959 you will only be able to see it if you buy it - check BMDshare, and check trees on here first as someone may already have a copy.

If it's 1859 it may be on Ancestry parish records.

You can search old parish registers for Medway and Gravesend and surrounding villages - Cityark.

That doesn't help you but there are some sites that do provide online resources for free.
