Don't know what's going on in H&A, but after Casey getting quite a lot of air-time to show his acting ability, we keep seeing clips of him in the Outback (Australian bushland) and that's an awful long way from where Summer Bay is supposed to be!
I just hope the writers have done their research! .... and/or know their geography!
If it's as good as their knowledge of formal English and a few other things, we could get a laugh out of it.

He's a real nasty one, isn't he? I think they could have used him more in the program, giving him a few devious ways of making us hate him - but he didn't last long enough.

Hi all.
We are at the part Brax has done a job.
Heath has faced up to his scum bag father.

We will have to wait until the writers think up HOW the couples can get back together again.

I think Gina is more annoyed that she wasted time cooking a lamb roast, than she is by who John had lunch with. Poor Marilyn was caught in the cross-fire.
Didn't Gina think of how many sandwiches John can make to take to work our of the left-over lamb? Anyway, she still had Jett to fuss over.

Can't you just feel the love? ;)

Heath and Brax doing their good deed for the year, my head is spinning.

Roo and Harvey!!!!!! Indi and Romeo, will they get back together or not??? John and Gina - so many love triangles at the moment. :D

These writers are unbelievable! There we have the Braxton boys who came to us as drug pushers, then they turned 'straight' and worry about the profits from the restaurant - and now we have them as Good Samaritans! Helping Sid to prepare for Dex's homecoming.

There has been no mention of Ruby, so I think you might be right.

At the moment, the concentration is on Roo and Harvey's on-again, off-again romance with Roo enjoying the company of her old love.

The other main stories involve Dex's slow recovery from his accident and Casey's guilt at shooting his own father. Both of them need to go to Rehab and as this has been suggested, I wonder if they, too, are going to go 'missing' - at least for a while.

Hi

Didn't see it on Fri as I had a little guest for the weekend.
We have a few soaps etc with 'real' romances going on with actors.sometimes I forget whos going out with who.

so looks like Ruby going out of it then.

Now, it's Liam and Indi.........or is it? I have just read that this is also a real-life item, but that they have just broken up. Apparently, they went public about their union about three months ago - and I (being a slow one) only learn about that when I read that they have just broken up. No official announcement as yet.

In the meantime, the actors who play Romeo and Ruby have now become engaged. She was referred to as his 'former co-star', so maybe when the police took her away, that may be the last we see of Ruby.

With all this on-again, off-again in the script and also in real life - it can be quite confusing!

Romeo and Indi - there's a push/pull relationship. Who knows where that one will end. Good that you are all back watching again, not too far behind us now.

Berona you will have to Google Matron Hilda Arrowsmith, she would often fill in if Maggie (the large one) was on holiday. There was a lot of rivalry between the two, esp. when it came to lawn bowls.

That's a big baby for one born so early; he looks very healthy. Bianca needs to calm down or the child will be as neurotic as his mum.

Poor Casey never seems to get a break. How can one family have so many dramas???

Marion from what I've found acting goes way back to my First Fleeter in the early days of Sydney Town, there was a bit of talent all the way through. Must have ended with me, lol. :-D ;-)

I thought I saw most of ACP episodes, but don't remember seeing June Salter. I know she was an actress, but remember her best for her quick wit in Graham Kennedy's panel show. I only remember the big lady matron in ACP ... but even that is stretching my poor old memory quite a lot. These days, I find it hard to remember what I had for breakfast!

So Brax has 'cooled it' with the solicitor. I wonder how she felt when she walked in on him nursing Bianca's baby?
Earlier, firstly Bianca waved the baby's bottle around his nose, but never put it in his mouth - and wondered why he was crying! Then, she walked out and Heath followed her. They both walked down to the beach and left the baby crying! With only Darryl to do anything about it, he picked him up and nursed him to sleep....which is how the parents found him when they returned. What kind of parents are they?
Then, they took the baby to bed with them and had him in between them. It wouldn't be surprising if they found him squashed in the morning!

John Meillon is related to us and that is his son. The first John Meillon married my gg.aunt. back in 1864. Father and son were both good actors and my dad looked very much like John Snr. They used to drink together along with my uncle at a pub at North Sydney and they never knew they were related. I managed to trace the connection with my tree. It is a small world really. Thanks for mentioning that Berona - John Jnr. was also in episodes of ACP too with his mother June Salter - Matron Arrowsmith. :-) :-)

Kim - ;just had to come in and tell you that in to-day's episode of the 1990 H&A, there was a brief appearance of a police sergeant and I noticed on the credits that the role was played by John Meillon, Jnr. Is that a relative of yours?

Berona Report 29 Aug 2012 08:26

Marion - I had a look at that link. Wow! How can so much happen in one woman's life? No wonder the series has been going for so long! For all that to happen in one person's lifetime, it's enough to write a book about on it's own!

So they did use the same story twice. I'm sure Leah had the little baby girl for Sally. Correct me if I'm wrong. Haven't got around to reading their life stories yet - took me long enough to read about Irene!
