But isn't the acting good by Kat and Alfie, which makes it all the worse really as it is raw grief portrayed.
I thought Alfie half recognised the baby as Tommy but his brain wouldn't accept it.

Meanwhile - back on Earth.

Bring back Angie & Den to sort it all out before the Government introduces the Romanian Witches' tax idea here.

Yep, I've read a few newspapers today.

Samantha Janus is leaving in May. Says the storyline has nothing to do with her decision to leave the series. Wants to move on. [wait for her to say she will be going to Hollywood like the others who have left, lol]

The baby storyline will continue until MAY.

Originally it was going to continue until next Christmas Day.

A very poor decision I think, it should be ended very, very soon.

I cringe watching it, and get very upset just watching Kat. Could smack Ronnie.

Apparently she walked off the set a few times during filming the scenes. Both the controversial episodes were written by a male script writer, father of four. Many of the script writers refused to be involved in writing those episodes, they said the ones pushing for the storyline were those without children mainly.
I have read that the story goes on until the spring. (maybe all the pressure from the public will change that, i hope so).

Last night Roxy picked up James (Tommy) and remarked on how much he had changed, then said all babies change a lot in the first weeks, thereby excusing why nobody has recognised him as not being James.

Last night the nurse told Cat not to be surprised if the PM didn't show up anything.

I do think the actress playing cat has handled her part excellently.

Yeah, to add to that bit of trivia , Samantha Janus sung ' A Message to your heart ' came 10th,
Quote....
' Striking looking girl but not a singer ' according to the BBC press officer for the event Ann Roseburg in 1998.

Ronnie - UK's representative in the 1991 Eurovision Song Contest.

Related to Angie Best ex-wife of George. Enough said.

Hi Julia

she is now saying she planned to leave before that. May EE worked the story round her leaving. Will she own up? Maybe end up going for help at a clinic? etc. We will have to wait and see. It has certainly hit the headlines.

I don't watch Eastenders these days. But, I am disappointed in this storyline, for alot of reasons, which i have read about in the press.
However, I cannot understand Samamtha Janus, having a conscience, or whatever her feelings are about the storyline, now.
Why did she not have these feelings when she was filming the scenes.
Don't want to cause an arguement or anything. It just seems odd to me.

What I mean is over the days, they change so if 'James' did look diffent it could be that his face is just 'settling down' after the birth...if you know what I mean lol

Some babies look very alike other are so differnent. But then that East enders for ya.

Hi all.

I'm wondering if the 'swap' will now be coming out in the open, with Ronnie leaving.I hope so.

MTG I can see why people woulnt realise a baby looked different.
Most babies look like they have done a round with mike Tyson right after birth then ones the swelling/marks go they look a lot better.
And Billy would be the last to notice lol

I cant remember so much with my own kids but with my grandkids where your not seeing them so much, every day after birth they looked better.

So Bryan Kirkwood sees it as a 'challenging story line' and Dermot says "What's all this fuss about 'the baby swapping episode'?" While Mothers are upset and complain about it.

The difference between the male and female response to the story maybe?

What's all this fuss about 'the baby swapping episode'?

It's not an original idea. It happened in the past in 'normal life' with some suspicions even in our Royal Family forbearers.

I do know who Jill Halfpenny is it is Chelsea Halfpenny who seems familiar but who I can't place.

Mottie Darlink, Good Morning.
I'd have said abit more than a bonny lass. Around these parts they would say Jill is volumptuous, that's the polite version, on Jane Russell proportions. Wonders if she ever gets back ache. LOLOL

Morning All, Chelsea Halfpenny plays the young girl Amy, who is helping out Eric and Val Pollard in Emmerdale.
She is the neice of Jill Halfpenny, who has been in Coronation Street, Eastenders, Waterloo Road, and the winner of Sticktly
Hope this helps.
