I don't go to bed to sleep Jude just lie on it , then I have to get and have walk cos I can't get in any easy comfortable position. Better walking ,tho not standing . We do have stairs but only to my dau's bedroom..dormer bungalow ,and stairs or steps are their worst for my knee. She wouldn't appreciate me up and down them all day anyway. ! Back to the physio exercises ..! Tho I hate them :-| Sandie.x

Day Trip To Bangor from Fiddler’s Dram
Didn't we have a lovely time the day we went to Bangor A beautiful day, we had lunch on the way and all for under a pound you know But on the way back I cuddled with Jack and we opened a bottle of cider Singing a few of our favourite songs as the wheels went around
Do you recall the thrill of it all as we walked along the sea grand Then on the sand we heard a brass band that played the Diddlely-Bump-Terrara Elsie and me had one cup of tea then we took a Paddler boat out Splashing away as we sat on the bay and the wheels went 'round
Didn't we have a lovely time the day we went to Bangor A beautiful day, we had lunch on the way and all for under a pound you know But on the way back I cuddled with Jack and we opened a bottle of cider Singing a few of our favourite songs as the wheels went around
Wasn't it nice, eating chocolate ice as we strolled around the fun-fair Then we ate eels in big ferris wheels as we sailed around the ground but then We had to be quick 'cause Elsie felt sick and we had to find somewhere to take her I said to her lad, what made her feel bad was the wheel going 'round
Didn't we have a lovely time the day we went to Bangor A beautiful day, we had lunch on the way and all for under a pound you know But on the way back I cuddled with Jack and we opened a bottle of cider Singing a few of our favourite songs as the wheels went around
Elsie and me, we finished our tea and said goodbye to the seaside Got on the bus, Flo said to us, oh isn't it a shame to go Wouldn't it be grand to have cash on demand and to live like this for always Oh it makes me feel ill, when I think of the mill and the wheels goin' 'round

I'm going funny again , me finks :-0

wotcha gang from a freezing cold, wet and windy Cardiff - brrrrrrrr :-(
Had a lovely visit this afternoon from Sue and her lovely OH - she is doing good and seems to be improving day by day - is in this neck of the woods till the weekend - my house looks tidy - as soon as I knew she was coming I had to have a quick clean up!! wipe your feet on the way out, not on the way in please!!! before she came my house had that "just burgled" look, but it's nice and tidy now, so thanks Sue!!!
big shock this morning - had a reply from the Royal Glamorgan Hospital to my letter of the 4th March regarding their appalling treatment of my son, who has still not had his op and been told that there are more urgent cases before him - he is on his second abscess sice the MRI scan - last one zapped with antibiotics and present one hopefully will be zapped - you would have thought that 12 opertions for the same thing would count as somewhat urgent wouldn't you - anyway, they are now gong to look into my complaint so watch this space
love to all

Hello All You Lovely Folk:-))))) Well what a lovely week , it would have been better if it was pain free but it's been Mum time and my situation was not going to spoilt it for her . Tuesday we were remembering our lovely Dad, Wednesday I was on bed rest between making phone calls, yesterday was Mum's birthday where she was overloaded with flowers,cards and cwtche's from family and friends. So today and Saturday I will be taking it easy . Birthday surprises are not finished yet, not knowing to Mum, my brother and his wife are taking her out for the day Saturday and they will be here Sunday for spoiling :-)))) I have passed on all your lovely Birthday Wishes and Mum is very touched, thank you:-)))
Yvonne, lovely to see you , I was going to ask Sandie to track you down:-))) Hope you are all well.
Kuros, hope everything went okay regarding your Mum's hip operation , thinking of you.
Jude, how are you all ? Sorry to read that son and family have gone down with food poisoning, where on earth did they pick that up. Glad you got your card okay <33. I agree with you regarding peeps making there own donations, makes more sense and sending it to you, I have chose the Diabetes Trust like you.
Tec, what you up to mate? Did I read on here that you have been out on your jet-ski :-))))) I hope you took your good lady and Tuffy out for a ride as well :-))))
Sylvia, you have not got a stalker have you :-O, someone else said on here a while back that there's a lot of nastiness on the boards, why would that be, just puzzled :-SS Hope you are okay.
Von, hope you have not got something nasty as you live in a polluted area, get from there. There are several caves here on the mountain, if your interested I can put a good word in for you:-))).
Sandie, the taxi will pick you up at 9 this evening , I thought you would like to see the constellations , the Bluff is the most peaceful place in the land after dusk , during the day a lot of funnyuns get up there but through the night all you hear is the odd Bhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa but the night sky is wonderful :-)))) Sorry that you are in pain with your back and knee , I could nip round and rub the effected areas with my magic potion , second thought's better not your hubby is bigger and me. So we had better postpone our trip me thinks :-(((((((((((((((((((((
Sallie, Diane, Hazel, Ann-Glos,Bethan, Ann-C, hope you are managing okay.
Now on a happier note, got a letter this afternoon dated 3 May from the people seeing to my appeal, they have now put me in the ``support group`` you would not believe how worrying about this as effected OH and myself but now we can move on a little. I said on here that I had rang 3 departments dealing with appeals last Wednesday May 8 and nobody new anything `` how strange`` they must of known all the time for this letter to be dated on the 3 May. Well it's no good stewing on it, we are just so chuffed with the out-come. I could end up with a bollocking hear :-(((( but I'm going to publicly say a very big thank you to Sue for writing letters supporting my claim, THANKYOU SUE <3. Also thanking everyone on hear for your kindness ,you have all been so supporting<3
bmd, Croeso / Welcome to our lovely Welsh thread, we are a odd lot but don't let that stop you joining in with the chat and banter:-)))
Friday night is mate night so going to have a rest.
You all take care.
<3 Shaun

Yes if Phil wants donations to different charities there is no point in one person making that collection..each to their selected charity that Phil and Jean have chosen.
The taxi hasn't arrived Shaun for the Bluff but it's a nasty old day here ! It must be windier up there :-| Only gone for walk around the block any further I'd be taken of my feet. Don't think I could manage it today anyway , my knee has been playing up..Dr says keep doing the exercises !!!...Yeah .OK
Hubby won't come with me cos his knee flares up like a balloon . Dr says wear and tear,he will persist in the garden, cos it's his hobby but just a walk is a no no.
I've spent most of the day in bed cos of my knee and back( nothing major just nagging) so will have to go and see what hubby's bought for tea....Surprise !...I hope ;-) Catch you in a bit. luv Sandie.xx

Good morning Shaun - I'm slowly getting back to the land of the living thank you. We live in a very polluted borough so we can be affected when we return home. Should move really but easier said than done. Hope you had a good day with your mum and family.
Sylvia - good to see you posting. We thoroughly enjoyed the train journey to Chigaco. My only reservation was that the food wasn't all that great but it was all edible so we didn't starve. ;-) ;-) As it's our first long train journey in the USA I have nothing to compare it with. The views alone were worth every penny. :-D :-D :-D
Jude - Thank you for letting us know about the charities to which Jean and Phil subscribed. Sorry to hear that son and family were poorly. Do hope they are fully recovered. How are you getting on with your tablet? I believe that the one you have is WiFi only so you will have to suss out all the places with free WiFi. ;-) ;-) ;-) Lots of cups of coffee me thinks. My son has very kindly lent me a small tablet to see how I get on with it as I was looking to buy an IPad but might look at the IPad mini. I have to say I enjoyed the cafe culture in SF but I don't very often go out for coffee here. :-( :-( Could start I suppose.
Tec - I hope you didn't get too wet when Taffy came round to play. Hope too that computer and connections are all behaving as they should.
~~~~~~~~~ to Bethan and Sandie and Yvonne and anyone else looking in Take care <3 Von
Well what a wet miserable blinking day....and its still raining:((
l spoke to Phil today and Vic saw him....he's abit better today bless him. Some of you have asked if l would do a collection forJean, l think l mentioned that Phil agree's that donating to one of Jeans fav charities would be lovely. They had 4 charites that they donated to.....
Cancer Research, Diabetes, The Cat protection and The Dogs Trust....so if anyone wants to donate it would be best if you did it yourselves rather than through me, makes sense really?? l will send to the Diabetes Charity!!
Shaun...l do hope you are feeling better today, whats with the medication mess up, hope its sorted now??
Bethan.....well done to BF on starting his new job. How are those cats of yours (l want one of my own :-( :-(...). Who do you want to be the new Swansea manager?? Sandie - it seems to vary, even from Caernarfon to Bangor. You often hear "y Nye" on the end of a word, and just as often hear " ey" used :-D. I'm afraid Bangor and Caernarfon Welsh defeats me - much too fast. Here in Merionnydd part of Snowdonia the Welsh is softer. As I was born a Valleys Boy, I cope quite well :-)
Sandie - You mean Bangor y nye - said quickly :-D :-D
Well it's wild and woolly up here today. The sea is white with fury and crashing up the beach - so different to the weekend when several visitors were out in the bay on jet ski's.
Shaun I hope you have a lovely day with your mum on her birthday.
Jude - Thinking of you and Vic, and especially Phil this week. What a difficult time for you all - I think a donation to a charity of his choice in memory of Jean is a very good idea.
Bethan - Good to see that b/f is settling into his new job, very good luck to him. Your garden will eventually come to be how you like it, but sounds like a lot of hard work to do first - bit at a time though.
I am slowly getting my head around the new laptop, and finding Windows 7 very different to Vista, but getting there. Also changed my internet provider this week just to complicate matters - so have a lot of work to do sorting it all out.
Well, Taffy is here for the day, and demanding to go outside for a play - so that's me about to get another soaking. I do wish he would learn to play on his own if he must go out in the wind and rain - silly dog :-D
Take care everyone, wherever you are, Hwyl fawr, Tec :-)
Looks like Bangorie day as my niece pronounces it , everyone day out again today. Those from North Wales may get the guist (sp)
It's a windy and wet day here so I took the the bus from town. I would have been talking my life in my own hands on that walk back home. It's a lovely open walk...but..terrible in the wind and rain :( Car is for a service , so no chance of a lift ! Hubby will need wet weather equipment when going to pick it up !!
Catch up later~~~ Luv Sandie~~~
My letterbox needs fixing again, I think there's someone at the door every minute!
Edit ..that boy on the mountain posted whilst I was typing ..and I haven't read it yet
