I was blubbing when she said goodbye to Hayley and Roy.

I think ther will be words between Ken and Deirdre. What a shame Blanche is not with us, she would have had something to say. lol

Methinks Ken will be taking a few more walks down by the canal.

:-D

i loved it how she kept her dignity, its horrible being accused of doing something you would never do, and even that was good xx

I like the actress's description of the character - that it was a story of redemption for her.

Good luck to Katherine Kelly:

Puss, that's the whole aspect of her character - she certainly did do some awful things in the past so people found no problem in accepting that she would stoop that low. Even Roy believed it at the start.

Yes, do you remember when she worked at underworld and stole from her colleagues. At least I think that was her. I loved how they gradually 'softened' her character. But as you say Sue 'Give a dog a bad name'!

I think her heart's in the right place, she is a very vulnerable person, and has given everything to be loved, and like most of us would just loved to be settled with children and be married.

I think her application to become a foster mum was sad too but in fairness taking her vulnerability and her using alcohol as a crutch when things go wrong , the correct decission was made.

i expect once the novelty of her way's wear off her new man will send her straight back to corrie, mayby with a child, that would put the cat amoungs the pidgeons. :-D

I loved the brilliant one liner as Tracey reached Steve "What the h..... she doing here". Reminiscent of the Steve/ Karen marriage after Tracey had appeared in the church, and Steve asked a fuming Karen "Are you all right".

Did everyone see the farewell to Becky programme. I thought it was great mapping out how she had arrived in the show and showing how they ahd developed the character. She was obviously popular with all the cast and it was strange to see the girl who plays Tracy (sorry can't remember her name) talking about her as a friend.

supercrutch Report 24 Jan 2012 22:18

Just watched it as I recorded it. Roy was obviouslly very fond of her as a friend. (I like his character).

I'd like to see scary Mary go, she gets on my nerves. Plus if Gail finds another man and starts batting her eyelashes again I will vomit!!

MotownGal

MotownGal Report 25 Jan 2012 20:35

Where DOES Gail buy her blouses?

She can only manage to do up two of the buttons. Or, she wears Stepford Wives tops, or she wears polo necks, and her own neck disappears.

Send for Gok.

:-D

Am I the only one who did not like the Becky character. I did enjoy the very ending in the plane but because I was aware with these spoilers that she was going to leave, I felt her exit dragged on too long over the weeks.

I do love Norris and Mary however.

Loved it when Ken and Steve got drunk together. They must have had about 10 wives and 50 girlfriends between them. They still dont understand women. lol

Ken threw Tracy out, good for him. He is the one with sense in that family. [except when it comes to a pretty face]

So Tracy pitched up at Steve's expecting it to be hunky dory.

Gonna be trouble.

See Robert Vaughan making an appearance. How I loved Man From Uncle.

:-)

lorraineakapuss Report 29 Jan 2012 12:34

Dont worry vera, if we could understand every person, or those that are portrayed to be, we would all be rich being a phyciatrist, basically she is the result of a broken family abused by those that are supposed to have loved her , so she hangs on desperatly to any kind of love and attention, and as often happens she uses alcohol and in real life a person could use drugs, BUT NOT ALL PEOPLE WILL DO THIS OTHERS GO ON TO LEAD PERFECTLY WHAT IS DEEMED AS PROPER LIVES. :-D
