All on the maternal line who lived cheek by jowl.

Great Great Aunt Lizzie b 1876 closely followed by her neice's husband, my maternal grandfather 'Harry' b 1877, and his 2nd wife 'Old Aunty Eva' 1878.

Makes you stop and gasp sometimes, doesn't it?

My Nanny Cal (Caroline) who was born in 1894 just abt a month before my Granda Lij (Elijah) just a few doors away. This were my Nan's parents and I spend all my time around at their amazing house til 1973 when they died abt 10 days apart having had 13 children, saw 29 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Their house had 8 bedrroms - 4 of which ran across the top of another house, this has since been converted to 2 - 4 bedroom houses and in the back room was a black lead range and a massive upright and piano (out of use by the time I came along) me and my cousin and sis used to hide in it.

Also met my Step-Grandads mother Kate (Katherine) - (once - which I don't remember, does it still count?). My Nan re-married when I was 18 months old. Gramps mother was born in in 1895 and died in 1972. When I was helping Gramps son research the history we discovered that not only did Caroline and Katherine share the same Surname (Finch) but they were born in the same street and were 2nd cousins.

Don't you just love family history!

edit to say the earliest photos I have - 1884 Harriet b 1850 (my great great grandmother) and Samuel b 1881 (my great grandfather)

and Annie b 1857 (my great great grandmother), Mary Anne b 1886 (my great grandmother) and George b 1906 (my Grandad) the pic is taken in 1909.

Paternal grandparents. Grandad was born in 1871, died in 1961 when I was 8. Granny was born in 1886 and died in 1967, I used to go and stay with them in the holidays. Grandad was a little old man, very deaf. He used to give us half a crown.
Granny's sister was born in 1897 and died in 1991.

Obviously older GR members will likely be able to link to people born mid 1800s, I guess.
Makes you think how close in links, but so very different in lifestyle.

Earliest for me was my grandfather b. February 1875.
