The last time I used a phone box I came out with my underpants on the outside and wearing a red cape :-D

We don't seem to have phone boxes here in Aus. anymore although there are public phones in shopping centres and railway stations. I think with the advent of mobile phones and the constant vandilisation of phone boxes is just not viable anymore. Shame really because I can remember the fun of half a dozen girls crowding into a phone box to ring up some boy or other.

I often have to use one as I forget to take mobile,you cant get connected for 20p.....

I know I've seen loads of phone boxes at a reclamation yard as we travel to Canterbury.
Just had a look at their site online and I think you're going to have to keep saving your pennies for a long time yet. !

Jeez, i can't even remember Dizzi but it has to be over 25 yrs ago!

I have always fancied having a bright red phone box in my garden.

I don't know about now, but a few years back you could buy one for about £200.....£400.

It wasn't so much the cost of it, it was the cost of having it delivered and then hiring a crane to lift it over the garden wall!

I want one!!!

when i got locked out wearing only a bath towel
i had to reverse the charges to my hubbys boss

to tell him to come home and let me in :-( :-(
