Did you say "what's a knife boy like you doing in a jobbie like this"?

Oh, sorry, that was the plumber :-D

H'actually Island, one of the lads is incredibly knowledgeable about trees and all things 'orticultural. I asked him, before he lopped off a long branch of my Mimosa tree, if it made good logs for the fire and he shook his head and said it was from the legume family and would be too soft and dry.

Now, if only I'd known you were making pickle to-day . . . . .

Island Report 9 Oct 2012 22:06

Chutney Wend, chutney :-D

So do you think your lentil off-cut would pickle well?

Wend

Wend Report 9 Oct 2012 22:34

Yes, he might've been Prickles, but I didn't see him go to the lavatory. I did spot him popping into the greenhouse though - he probably thought the tomatoes needed watering :-D

Its all right for you Island running amok waving your Chopper about .
You would get away with something like that, but if a fella did the same... Well!!!!!

Island

Island Report 10 Oct 2012 11:30

Well Jimbob, I think it might be the running amok that gets you into trouble :-) :-)

Btw...we've had a great chilli harvest and plenty more to pick :-D :-D

Budgie Rustler Report 10 Oct 2012 11:53

I was late doing mine from the previous years seed and they didn't take off.
A very poor crop this year, but not to worry I still have 4 small jars of chili powder I made from last years crop.

Made some Spicy Tomato Soup using my own Tomato`s and Chili powder on Monday.
I made too much, lol, had to put a load in the freezer. BOY! is it hot and spicy, might be a bit too much for most people but I love it.
It should be great for those freezing winter evenings we've got coming up soon.
:-D

Wend

Wend Report 10 Oct 2012 12:06
