I do not know how many of you are aware of this but at the left hand side of your FB page there is a column with different subject headings eg Favorites, Ads, Pages etc. Underneath Favorites click on "Messages' and it opens up to reveal the sub heading 'Other'. This is where your messages go which haven't come from your accepted group of friends. There is no other indication that there are messages waiting for you like a number as occurs when you receive messages from friends so it's easy to overlook.

Hi George, I found this out, eventually, when someone asked if I had got their message, there were already messages there in 'other' from a long time back, the senders must have thought I was just ignoring them :-(

Good tip as not everyone knows about it, I'm sure :-)

Have circulated it to my Friends on FB and placed it on a number of Groups. Seems quite a lot of people didn't know about this. I checked my "Other" out and found some messages at least over 2 years old!!
