So sad. A gifted and versatile actor. I remember him also in the Tony Hancock "The Reunion" episode.

There were so many talented people in the Dads Army series. I sometimes log into Youtube and just fall about at the splendid scripts and excellent delivery.

Don't Panic, Don't Panic! take a last Last bow Clive Dunn.

I loved Dads Army and still watch it when its on, it seems to span the generations.
I watched it with my Mum and Dad and my Son and Daughter.

Hi all,
I was sad to hear on the news today about Clive Dunn passing away. I was brought up with the re runs of dad's army and I have to say I watch them still and they still make me laugh !

He was also known well for the song "Grandad" and seemed to be such a nice guy

:-(
