Keith.......please don't worry about asking for help on any of the boards.

No one is going to be bothered if you have a full subscription or not.

Members have different subscriptions to different sites so we all muck in together.

In fact, we do it, because we all enjoy it!

;-)

Jill is right, of course. There are lots of very kind people on here who really enjoy helping. And are very good at it also.

But what a shame that once again Genes and Bright Solid have shown total incompetence. Probably the marketing person thought it was a good idea to offer free credits in Daily Mirror and had splashed out the cash on what sounds a good promotion. But had not bothered to tell the others in the so-called "team", who are extremely busy trying hard not to answer any suggestions on the boards they set up in August!!!!!

And one very senior member of staff appears to have 9 months holiday at least a year. :-( :-( Let's have a competent manager in charge of the team please. George Entwistle, Steve Kean, Craig Levein and Nadine Dorries are all free, I believe. ;-)

Keith I get what you say about thinking that you should have full membership. But along with others on here, I'm happy to look stuff up. It's often fun and also a break from my own tree. I've paid my subs so I like to use them to the full. I'm lucky enough to be able to afford them. It wasn't the case when I first joined and I had to save for some time for my first subs. And anyway, it's good to help each other.

And aside from asking the question, all you need to do to gain good results is to include please and thank you :-D

Tried to look at the offer but internet seems unhappy this evening.

Don't forget Keith that you can always ask for stuff to be looked up. It helps to make the most of my membership to look up info for people.

I find that the phrase 'Nothing in life is ever free' seems to be more appropriate than ever these days.

Think I am the only Mirror reader. Keith. All the other posters are Guardian or Telegraph, I think.

Did see the credits and thought "they are spending money on advertising and offers". What a shame they have a rubbish tree and hopeless searches.

I suppose you will have to write an email to ask Genes Team what you should now do to register these credits. Also perhaps leave a note on "Suggestions" board under "General"
