Duke of Kent was in Falklands and Prince William laid a wreath at Cenotaph this morning. Good to see Prince Philip last night and this morning.

BBC in more trouble this morning. As Nigel Dobbs of Northern Ireland laid his wreath he was described as "Elvern Clue-id, leader of Plaid Cymru and representing the Scottish National Party". Then it was announced that the next wreath laid would have wonderful tropical flowers in it, and poor Elfyn Llwyd came forward with a very ordinary wreath.

And Llwyd is Plaid Cymru's Westminster parliamentary group leader, not the leader of Plaid Cymru - who is Leanne Wood. It was one of the Dimbleby's doing the commentary. Like father, not!!!!!

Did anyone notice that charles, camilla, the boys etc were not there last night? I know sometimes they have other prior engagements but just thought it a bit strange so many members were missing last night?

The two little 6yr olds that presented the posy were just lovely.

We watched it, missing the last 20 minutes or so of XFactor. Wasn't the little girl who presented the poppies at the end sweet? and didn't she speak clearly? Pity we didn't get a clear view of the children when they came in, there was a Gloucester girl from the High School among them. She has done a lot of fund raising for the RBL.

Thought the Military WC was very good with the soloist R Marine.

I was watching X factor and forgot to switch recorder on so only saw the last part, but will be recording today's ceremony at the Cenotaph to watch later. It's always so moving.

I did until Mr Stewart opend his mouth and sounded like a strangled cat. I always watch both normally, so will enjoy the Cenotaph ceremony.
