Its all well and good changing the zoom level, I have mine set at 125% so would not be able to read it at 75%

Just hit the F11 key when you want to save instead, then F11 to go back to how it was

If you are on100% zoom level , zoom out to 75% you should be able to see the whole of the box window . You can then reposition it up or down as befor, then go back to 100%

It might take more than one try to position the box to your liking.

hi shane, thanks for your reply. i done what you said, it worked. but now i have the lower part of the box with the "save" button. so i cant add the name now. it used to be so easy before they changed things...its doing my head in. jean

I take it you have got as far as the Add child, Box Window, It should look something like this below...

Forename [_________________________]
Surname* [_________________________]
Year of birth. [________] [ ] Tick if unsure
Year of death [________] [ ] Tick if unsure
Gender* (o) Male
.............. ( ) Female
Parents* ( ) John Smith and Ann Smith
................ ( ) John Smith and Unknown

Put you pointer in the space bar where it says "Add child" and left click and hold down. You should then be able then to to drag the box up the page, so as you can bring into view the "Save" button at the bottom of the Box Window.

hi jiminy, i did that for the parent box. but the page wont scroll down so i can click on add.

Parents* Please select which couple are the parents

hi all, now the dark nights are upon us,i thought i would add names to my tree. not having much luck, when i click on add .i choose add child. but the screen dosnt move so i cant click on the add button. am i doing something wrong or is it the g.r.site playing up? thanks.
