	It looked like a wall lizard - and can be kept as a pet. Personally, I'd have taken the package, which looked unopened,to the store to show them, got them to take a picture, then taken the lizard to the nearest wildlife sanctuary/ place with a reptile house!! Chances are the poor thing's still in the bag and being 'shown around' while management ineffectively wring their hands. It eats insects, so will probably be hungry by now - lettuce leaves are no good for it.
