I mentioned on another thread the other day that I was making a doll for one of my gt. grandaughters.
Well I made all these ringlets, sewed them on the head, made a fringe, and then as an after thought, turned it around.
Well, she looked like Bonnie Langford with a bad case of alopecia.
So now I am frantically crocheting more ringlets, ti in-fill the head.
Yes folks, these are the things that us grannies and great grannies get up too instead of posting on GR. LOLOL

Island , I do consider myself very lucky in being a Gt. Granny. It just doesn't always feel .like it.
But I would not be without any of them.

My role (only as a Grandma, so far :-D) is easy. As I cannot knit, sew, crochet, cook, or do anything useful, I just sing to them and tell them stories of my youth and other tall tales :-D <3

Julia bet your grt grchildren love the things you make , you are a very talented grandma.

Used to love playing board games with grandchildren when they were littlies but now it all computer type games for them.

LaGooner, have sat on the floor many a time playing with dolls and train set (with grchildren) and cleaned cake mixture and food colouring off walls. lol.

Oh BC I bet your grandchildren love to hear your stories.

Don't worry Von I have revived the thread or may have killed it again lol.
