Hi Lynda and Foggy. They were two friends and both good singers. They didn't look or sound like the usual boy/girl singers favoured by Simon Cowell on his reality programs and he tried to split them up, keep one and ditch the other. I can't remember if it was Jonathan or Charlotte he wanted to keep. Anyway they took no notice of him and stuck together and now gold album sellers. It was a bit like Paul Potts and Susan Boyle.

Teresa :-)

He looks like a modern day Pavarotti, not a bad voice, either.

Jonathan wowed everyone with his voice. Charlotte was somewhat weak and offkey during the audtion. Cowell wanted Jonathan to continue as a solo artist but refused as Charlotte was the person who gave him the confidence to audition.

I thought he had an amazing voice and I'm sure they will do well.

Enjoy Lynda.

To be honest, Jonathan has had classical training, Charlotte hasn't. Charlotte's love is musicals. She only put them both forward for X factor on a whim, but there's no way Jonathan would have appeared without her, he had many confidence issues,
However, now he realises he has a true talent, size doesn't matter, bullies are morons, and is gaining in confidence etc, Charlotte may go her own way.

You can find the auditions & more on YouTube ~ worth a look, especially their other appearances on BGT.

:-)

I couldn't believe it, when they were beaten by a dancing dog!
