The other night I heard myself say " Don't give un that,he haven't eat he's curry." and I wondered what had actually been the point of sending me to grammar school all those years ago.

You can take the girl away from agricultural labour but you can't quite remove agricultural labourer from the girl.

Well,it is a traditional Sussex dish called curry and he hadn't eat he's so he couldn't have any afters gainst he had look.

understand you.! I think accent,/dialect is good, and i love hearing all the different ones. Its what makes someone individual. Would rather listen to that any day instead of the boring old BBC speak.

It doesnt have any relevance to education, imo. :-D

OH is into card making and watches the craft programmes on channel 36.

So far as I am concerned it's a continuous advert in Manchester accents.
