Thanks LaGooner,

Looking forward to my Haggis Neeps and Tatties washed down with a 40 year old Malt.

Stephen2009 Report 29 Nov 2012 20:21

St. Andrews Day.

It's a pity we don't celebrate it the way that Scot Expats do.

Thanks LaGooner.

Robert.......40 year old Malt..........I'm on my way.....Where do you live?

The adoption of St. Andrew as our Patron Saint and the Saltire as our National flag
makes interesting reading.

Wont go into detail would take ages. Try a Google Search I'm sure you'll find something.

Have a great day tomorrow everyone.

LaGooner Report 29 Nov 2012 20:22

Dawnieher3headaches Report 29 Nov 2012 22:01

went past Tiddlers school this afternoon and the scottish flag is already up the flag pole ready for tomorrow

GlasgowLass Report 29 Nov 2012 23:27

We will be having a steak pie dinner tomorrow for St Andrews Day.
My workplace (library) is hosting an coffee morning which includes a dram and Scottish Tablet.. yummy!
Stephen, this one is for you.....

Around 25,000,000 people of Scottish heritage live abroad, compared to only 5,000,000 people living within Scotland itself!

Bobtanian Report 30 Nov 2012 00:29

I'll second that!!!

LadyScozz Report 30 Nov 2012 01:26

I've got a T-shirt with "John O'Groats" in big letters, in tartan.........
and a T-shirt with funny wee men on a haggis hunt.

It's too hot to wear the JO'G one, and the Haggis one is too small.

Maybe I'll put a tartan ribbon in my hair.

Yes, I was born in Scotland :-D

George Report 30 Nov 2012 10:57

I am just south of the Border.

My daughter runs a facebook and twitter acct for her cousin who owns a wee Scottish themed Shop in Glasgow.
She adds a Scottish fact every Friday.
Today's Fact Friday:
Did you know St Andrew is also the patron saint of Russia?
