i have 3murder victims in my tree
and found a few i wouldnt mind doing myself x :-D :-D

no i dont mind you asking at all, i was looking at someone else's tree on ancestery (they had his death date ) so i clicked on their source ... criminal registers,which showed he had been tried in dec 1868 ,and given a death sentance, hung18jan 1869..he was also in lewis jail in 1865 for thief ..bit of a bad penny all round .

May I ask how you came accross the imfo? Special docs etc. Found a friends relly in prison but that was on a census.

One of mine spent 6 days in prison but that's about as exciting as it gets!!

murderer that is , just found one on my tree, martin brown ,hung in lewis jail jan 1869 . tell the truth now ,who else has one in their tree. iris
