I lost access to my tree in 2006/07 and recieved some messages re my post about Hannah McColl 1904 - 1930. Pretty sure most weren't related but some are possible esp Julie who I know is related (tried email but it bounced).

Hannah is my great grandmother, married Charles Marsh. My grandmother is Brenda, adopted my the Lamberts after Hannah's death and married John Myles.

Brenda's brother Clifford went to Canada and died in 2011.

If your thread still exists, it should be listed under 'my threads' (subheading under Tools) to the left of the page.

If Julie posted on that, click on her name and send a message. If she still has the same registered e-mail address, GR will notify her that you are trying to contact her.

You could also 'Search all trees' on the drop down menu under search for your deceased relatives names, and send the tree owners a message.

Is this your message on another site?

I have just started my family tree and am looking for some help with the McColl branch as my grandma isn't well and at the moment can't give me more info.

My great grandma was Hannah McColl born Scotland 6/4/1904 died 11/12/1930. Siblings George, Albert and Katherine. Father John.
Hannah married Charles Fredrick Marsh.
My grandma is Brenda and one of her brothers is Clifford. When Hannah died the children were sent to live in the UK with Aunt Kitty who had married a Lambert, they later formally adopted the children.
Brenda married Balmer Myles and immigrated to Australia after WW2 children Mary, John (born Cheshire1948) and Annette(born Australia 1961) and Clifford went to America.
Anyone got these people in their trees that want to compare relatives?

In the remote chance that someone with knowledge/related sees this in the future, make sure that you notify GR of any email address changes

Even if you are no longer a member, they can still send a personal message by clicking on your name. ;-)

Do you need help with records, or trying to trace descendents? If so, you could start a thread on either Find Ancestors, or Find Living Relatives as appropriate. There are lots of people only too willing to help you

Happy hunting!

My original issue was in fact a loss of log on details - it's taken me this long - 5 years - to convince GR that I owned my tree. Thanks for the advice. Like I said, covering my bases after responding to original messages.
