I am not actually reading a book but am having it read to me. (Audio books)

Ian Mortimer's The Time Travellers Guide to Elizabethan England. The narrator has a wonderful voice and the book is written in such a way that the author invites you to
envisage life as an Elizabethan. His other Audio book The time travellers guide to medieval England is as equally engrossing. I try not to listen to it while in bed because the voice makes one so relaxed that I would fall asleep before hearing too much of it. I do however listen to it whilst in the bath but stay vigilant in case I fall asleep and drown :-D

Will just mention that the books are "The Bertrams" by Anthony Trollope.

and
"Black Diamonds" The Rise and Fall of an English Dynasty by Catherine Bailey
a reallly interesting non-fiction book.

To this thread, to the Irish research tips thread, to others, and Phil has found them; before his appearance on the scene, no one could find lost threads. But why should he have to do it? The site is becoming more unstable :(

Thanks Joy I have contacted Phil now, as you suggested last time so will await the outcome , will then so as you say it does seem silly that this keeps happening to the thread for no reason.....

I was just going to post on it too. Just finished daughters of the Grail by Elizabeth Chadwick. Really enjoyed it.

Ask Phil again Mersey.

I would go direct to Phil to ask him to find it again, if I were you and, once he has found it again, I would send a letter of complaint somewhere; not customer services, if I were you, but Chris Van Der Kyle.

Sorry to hear that - perhaps there are gremlins in the works? That was a good thread even for non posting bibliophiles.

Hope they find it tomorrow.
