....about winter fuel allowance?

From the bank statement, it would appear that OH has received his first ever payment a couple of weeks ago. Although he had acknowledgement of his claim, we had no further correspondence.

DET Had my letter telling me I was about to get mine over a week after £200 dropped mysteriously into my Coutts account.

I think you may find you have a legal right now to claim a further £200 :-D

We need it this year. Above the snow line for 3 months here in Pontypandy ;-)

Now I have to chase the Tax man - according to them paid to know these things, I owe them and would get a fine if not paid up by the end of January :-(

The letters seem to be following the money paid instead of the other way round this year.
