When I was only 22 I walked past a building site, my back was towards some workmen and they all whistled at my rear view! I turned round and they all burst out laughing I was a very round 9 months pregnant but didn't show from the back. I laughed too as it was quite funny at the time.

Wolf whistling is a show of appreciation. Not sexist, cos I often get wolf-whistled.

No surprise to me that you were their object of attention. Laughing at someone (if I remeber my O level Psychology) is to emphasise that they really admire you.

That's the way I take it when anyone laughs at me and my cap :-D :-D
