i actually had a result at Tescos the other week. Barbie dog thing...stupid toy...£25 in toys r us...£20 in Asda...£13.99 in Tesco !!!!

Mind you they did try and over charge me for £2 but i soon got that back !!!! :-D

Have noticed that Tesco aren't very cheap for anything this Christmas. I have never known them to be this uncompetitive. Even petrol last night was 132.9 and my local garage was 130.9

Tesco - Matchstick chocolates (currently on special offer at 2 for £3) . Widely available everywhere else at between £1 and £1.22 a box.

Must have a word with Phil Clarke (CEO) ;-) Not a happy small shareholder.

I had to be there anyway Sue, and all the shops were in a 'row' lol so not far to walk in this case.

Tesco have a special buy one get two free on the choc oranges, till the 10th if anyone is interested :-)

My dad rang me last night to say my mum wanted a particular kitchen scales for christmas.
He said they were advertised as £29.99 on tv so while on the phone found them on Amazon for about £25...just before I ordered I found a price comparison and Currys had it for £20 and Argos £39.99!!!

So you can guess where OH is going to pick it up today
