I think GR has frozen over too :-|

I'm stuck in this snow drift,,,,,sorry , I mean thread and cannot get anywhere .

I keep getting the dreaded error message and cannot get into another screen. Can someone please dial 999 for me.!!!!!!

See ! Andy was correct in his OP we have come to a standstill.
The motoring organisations predictions were fairly accurate.

....Tho my car is OK and I've just pinched myself......Yes I still have a pulse :-)

Just as well I have an emergency kit in the car ,I think I'll use the micro thermal sleeping bag,and the blanket ,put my head down and see what tomorrow brings.

It's not the 21st of December tomorrow is it ??
OMG I'm doomed if I'm stuck in this snow drift,,,sorry thread until then.

Bye GR ,bye world it was nice knowing you !

No-one cares about us poor pedestrians - we can slide all over the pavement and get no warning :-P

This mornng I got to the bus stop by walking on the not very slippery (in comparison to the pavement) road, only to find I couldn't walk along the pavement to get on the bus :-(

An 82 year old gent helped me :-0

The pressure group Brake have emphasised that, if temperatures plummet and there is 6 feet of snow, no one should exceed speed limits. Remember the braking distance at 30mph is two and a half miles!!!!!!!!

After a sudden overnight change in weather conditions, motoring organisations have warned that every motorist in Britain is about to die in a massive, horrible accident.

‘Oh my God, stop your cars! Stop your cars now before everyone is killed!’ said Panny King, wildly flailing spokesman for the RAC. ‘Just coast gently to a halt, get out and walk home before you die!’ he added, sobbing slightly.

Mr King’s thoughts were echoed by Pat Ronising of the AA; ‘The icy claws of certain doom are coming!’ he shrieked. ‘Sell your car! Sell it now before it’s too late!’

The British Institute of Motoringists was even more explicit in its weather-based advice; ‘Do not go near your car unless you want to die!’ yelped spokesman Huw Joverreaction. ‘Even looking at a car in a cold snap could kill you! Go home and hide under a table and don’t think about cars or you WILL DIE! Arrrrrgh! Arrrrrrgh! Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!’

Another light flurry of snow is expected in the next 48 hours.

Andy :-D ;-)
