	As the end of the world approaches, I had to smile at how some countries are readying themselves. Heres Britain’s approach In Britain, of course, most people have kept calm - with the AA advising motorists to allow extra time for their journeys as the end of the world approaches. Member Since: June 2005 Posts: 8,791 Send Message	lol about the Y2K Friend of ours had a party..........10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1....... and on the stroke of midnight all his power went off :-( A friend was outside (snow up to his assets) waiting by the fuse box......... waiting for the right moment! We weren't there.......... cos OH had to work! :-(

There goes a side window of the car. Who left that rock there? It can be fixed tomorrow afternoon, so we'll have to sit in the pub (down the road from the repair place) for a couple of hours. Too far to walk home ~ if we did, by the time we got home it would be time to turn around and go back. We can't leave it, because the car will be sitting in the parking area of an airport all day on Wednesday. :-(

	Then there was k20 or 20k or the year 2000 remember that .....the whole world was going to spin of its axes coz the computers wouldnt work!!! couldnt see how thyat would effect people ....................unless they had to go to work!
