Brought to you by the woman who fries potato peelings.

I found some of last year's green icing in the tin.It was all dried out and hard so I grated it and mixed it with a drop of glycerine and now it is cut into ivy leaves to go on a cake.

Alright,so it is not going on my cake but it is going on one all the same.

A resourceful woman.........hard to come by............my lott swear by use 'by dates!!'

The use by date was last June.

Women after my own heart too Maggie and Sharron, I cannot bear waste and use everything I can, often ignoring those 'use by' dates if the item smells and looks ok and tastes alright too,

Hope the leaves aren't poison ivy lol
