i was able to access my tree for the past couple of days since it went down on 23/12/2012 but now it has gone down for the 2nd time @ 16.20
now coming up again with HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable
i did get a reply when i email them asking various ?s but had no reply as yet back and there is nothing about this problem on the anouncements page
are other people still having the same problem or is it just me

Mine has just gone for the 2nd time today.

I've been having the HTTP 503 error since I signed up and paid last week.

I've sent GR a message as others have but I'm starting to regret my choice based on all the similar messages

well for a site that has been running for many years now you would have thought they would have been more organised
i managed to get my tree up with immediate family but now it wont let me go to a different relative when i type them in to find them

tree up and running at last but now i can not put anything into my clipboard

My tree has just come back up second time today it has gone down :-(

I have made a few posts on their Facebook page but only response has been from other dissatisfied members.

Why don't they tell us what the problem is, beginning to think that Brightsolid want to let this site go to the dogs and then use that as an excuse to close it and concentrate on building up the dating side of Friends Reunited, more money and less hassle in that market, also they do have another lucrative genealogy site they could transfer people to, Find My Past, you know the scenario, economies of scale and all that stuff :-(

message i got this time was the following

404 - File or directory not found.

I'm having the same issues - yesterday I had to keep refreshing my tree and today I worked on it for a few hours before suddenly getting the same message as Stephanie. Perhaps the tree element of the site is down for maintenance due to the number of problems

Was able to access tree again shortly after posting my last message. This morning I am unable to search the surnames for people I know I have on my tree - very frustrating.

i've had that problem to lisa but have not checked my clipboard issues yet but will do now and let peeps know if i'm still having same problem

I don't know if this works, but this solution was posted on another thread on the same subject.

I wouldn't recommend doing that. 3.3.1 must have facilities in it that 3.3.3 is intended to supersede.

Also some people have said that data they put in yesterday is not there today. Could be they used 3.3.1.

Fair enough, was just passing the suggestion on.
