Hi Allan,
I've just been advised of my UK pension entitlement so I guess we're about the same age with me being the elder statesman

Allan

Allan Report 4 Jan 2013 21:29

lol barbra, still a work in progress. At the moment I'm trying to apply for the UK aged pension as in March I will also be applying for an Australian one. Unless I am claiming all I am entitled to from the UK, my Aussie application will not be considered. I also can't do anything until June when I come out of the chair at Lodge. Then in September my daughter and her partner are off to NZ for a few weeks so OH will be housesitting for them. So any trip will not be this year

Scozz, I'm a bit more Irish than you. My maternal Grandmother was from Dublin and my paternal gt grandmother was from Cork.

It's my children that I feel sorry for; they have Irish/Polish/Ukrainian blood in them :-S

Must be the Irish in me.

A teaspoon or two........ my grandfather's great-great-grandparents.

Maybe not.......

My 7xgreat-grandparents were born in the Orkney Islands, so I've probably got Viking blood too.

Scottish, Irish, Spanish, French & Viking.......... omg

I always knew you were a bit wicked, Allan, propositioning a woman!!! :-D

I'd love to come Allan!

Susan is flying in on her broomstick. I'm flying in on my vacuum cleaner, but I'll need a longer extension cord :-) It might take me a while with all the stopovers.

We're in the same country, but we're at opposite ends (You and me, not Susan lol)

I've been in Kings Park.......... in 1963 :-)

Allan,
Cool enough in this weather. Perth would suit me if your friend would prefer it.

Hi Joy,

I hope that you are keeping well - I'm fine.

Allan,

I live in Quinns Rocks. Weekend meets are out for approximately 10 - 12 weeks until after the pennant bowls season ends. If you and I are the only two interested perhaps we could get together in Mandurah. I'm currently down at my daughter's there until the 2nd of January and after bowls finish I try to visit her approximately monthly

Kind regards
Ian
