Hi Wend, Tapioca, Sago, Semolina, Creamed Rice and various other milk puddings sold in tins in our local Morrisons, make a quickie afters with a dollop of jam.

I think, like Ann C, suffered a bit from the rationing era - tinned potatoes that were never cooked through and had a tough 'skin', canned/powered egg 'dishes', the inevitable cabbage (soggy/over-cooked) and sprouts (acidic and hard in the middle). Meat ? I don't remember any meat to be honest, possibly some form of reconstituted sausage maybe, but not sure.... :-(

I can get Rice Tapioca, Sago, Semolina from the local health food shop.

We used to have neon pink blancmange with really thick skin at Primary...I loved that ,sooooo yummy :-D

Tapioca! I haven't had that since I was about 12. We called it Frogs' Eggs.

I'm not a big fan of desserts, but I love rice pudding with sultanas in it........ and (believe it or not)... prunes & custard. :-D

We only have dessert when we have people over for a meal....... and in summer it's usually fruit & cheese :-)....... and chocolate dipped strawberries :-D
