You are quite right john, my education was not the arts,thats for boring old farts,

my education was in the sciences :-D :-D :-D

but our connection was that we were educated in good old wales,or where you educated in England :-D :-D :-D

Paula.....I married in 1972....(I get the sweetest feeling) by Jackie Wilson was playing on all the stations that summer....my new OH bought for me in Woolies!

1978.....Having my insides poked around in hospital...not a good year! ;-)

Education was public school in Wolverhampton (honest!), Tech College in Walsall and UCNW Bangor. Stopped learning when I was 22. :-( :-(

When my daughter got married 2007....she had that played for me and her dad. I still love it now :-D

In 1949, my mum was 19 with 1 child expecting the second (neither was me) dad wad 23.

In 1978, I was living in the Shetlands. Mostly alone, miles from anywhere with someone elses dog :-D

Have just wickied 1978 cos I could think of nothing that happened.

These are the only two newsworthy events I found:

Mavis Hutchinson, 53, becomes the first woman to run across the U.S.; her trek took 69 days.
• Garfield, which eventually becomes the world's most widely syndicated comic strip, makes its debut.

I was in primary school...but I preferred 1977 in terms of music...because of Grease lol
