Sheesh John - if you find it amusing then just let it be!
I think it is hilarious because it is mainly us blokes who like to think we get it right even when we don't - you may check the mirror whilst waiting at the ATM but we check the tyres, oil, water and pretend we know what we are doing and then break down half a mile down the road and call the AA after persuading the wife to sit in the driving seat so they don't think it is us who know nothing about cars

They have recently installed the first "Drive Through" ATM in Nottingham.

I was that male driver behind her.
I didn't have the heart to tell her that she had tucked her skirt into her knickers too.

Plus it is a repeat of a thread of a few weeks ago :-( :-(

an appalling indictment of female driving and just so untrue!!!! :-D

"Drive Through" ATM in Nottingham.

It has been closely monitored over a 4 week period to see how it fared.
It seems there is a a big difference in Male and Female procedure in obtaining their cash amounts.
They go something like this...


Male Procedure:
1. Drives up to the cash machine.
2. Puts down car window.
3. Inserts card into machine and enters PIN.
4. Enters amount of cash required and withdraws.
5. Retrieves card, cash and receipt.
6. Puts window up.
7. Drives off.

Female Procedure:
1. Drives up to cash machine.
2. Reverses and backs up the required amount to align car window with the machine.
3. Sets parking brake, puts the window down. Finds handbag, removes all contents on to passenger seat to locate card.
4. Tells person on mobile 'phone they will call them back and hangs up. Attempts to insert card into machine.
5. Opens car door to allow easier access to machine due to its excessive distance from the car. Inserts card.
6. Re-inserts card the right way.
7. Digs through handbag to find diary with PIN written on the inside back page.
8. Enters PIN.
9. Presses cancel and re-enters correct PIN.
10.Enters amount of cash required.
11. Takes a quick peek at herself in rear view mirror.
12. Retrieves cash and receipt
13. Empties handbag again to locate wallet and place cash inside.
14. Writes debit amount in cheque register and places receipt in back of chequebook.
15. Re-checks makeup.
16. Drives forward 2 feet.
17. Reverses back to cash machine.
18. Retrieves card.
19. Re-empties hand bag, locates card holder, and places card into the slot provided.
20. Gives dirty look to irate male driver waiting behind her
21. Restarts stalled engine and pulls off.
22. Redials person on mobile phone.
23. Drives for 2 to 3 miles.
24. Releases Parking Brake.
